After the verdict from the Supreme Court, which was in favor of Hindus to build the Ram Temple, it was a clear indication – its time to move on. The supreme court not only gave Hindus the rights to build the temple in the disputed site based on the pieces of evidence but also awarded 5-acre land to Muslims so that they can build their mosque in some other site.
This clearly meant that it’s a victory of faith and not just any religion. It also meant that its time we spend all our energies on other important factors like poverty, economy, people development, and so on. These are the issues that really matter for any country that is looking to grow. And this is absolutely true because no matter what happens we should understand one thing that “United we stand, divided we fall”.
After the supreme verdict, it was heartening to see that both the Hindu and Muslim leaders appealed for peace and prosperity eve as some expressed surprise over the verdict.
Navaid Hamid, president of All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat, an umbrella body of several Muslim organizations, appealed for peace and harmony. The hearing of temple-mosque land dispute in Ayodhya had been going on for so many years and was the second longest proceedings in the history of the Supreme Court.
With the statement from Iqbal Ansari who is one of the litigants in the case that they will not challenge the verdict in court, it is a clear indication that its high time to move on. We should now move on to see what we can do to improve the quality of conditions for all the communities.
We need to look forward instead of looking back in the past because if we look at the past then we will always be in misery. So, it’s better to always future and also look for the positive side.
Say goodbye to the past, because its time to move on. Its time to write a new story – a story about peace and harmony. Moreover, I believe its time to move forward with a positive mindset.
